Original Watercolor Painting by Greg Barker
This started as a scratch pad for finding the right green tone…You have to love watercolors…they practically paint themselves.
I used Derwent w/c pencils, water brush, and Arches 140 lb. hot press paper.
I made this one today for My Mother…(Don’t tell her…it’s a surprise…:O)!
I hope she likes it!
Yup, That’s their ranch house in Seguin, TX.
I hope Y’all enjoy it as well.
Thanks for looking!
Created for my Brother Tony Barker who is a incredible singer/songwriter/performer living in Texas.
This will be part of a series of greeting cards that I am working on.
More to come…
Watercolor of San Francisco.
This is my first painting using Inktense Watercolor Pencils by Derwent. They produce fantastic colors and are easy to work with. I got a lot of help from watching some great videos on YouTube. I’ll post a few links that I’m sure you will enjoy and hopefully inspire you to let that creativity out into the world.
